After a hijack open, Chance Kornuth three-bet to 1,500 in the cutoff, the big blind called, and the original raiser folded.

The dealer spread the {q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop and the big blind checked. Kornuth bet 1,000 and his opponent continued.

The {3-Hearts} landed on the turn and the big blind checked again. Kornuth bet 2,800 and his opponent called again, while both players checked the {10-Hearts} river.

Kornuth tabled {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} as his opponent showed a seven, and he claimed the early pot with the pocket pair.
