Maria Konnikova found herself all in for her last 12,000 with pocket fives against another players pocket aces. The board failed to improve Konnikova's hand and she was sent to the rail.
However, Konnikova was seen sitting back down in the same seat she was eliminated from with fresh 25,000 stack.
Joe McKeehen got all in for around 30,000 against a single opponent with pocket kings against on a flop.
McKeehen would need the board to pair to double through, but the turn and river were of no help — leaving him to re-enter should he choose to continue.
From June 10-14, the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) will play host to a second Main Event, this one costing $1,600 to enter and featuring a $2,000,000 guarantee.
The three-day tournament will offer a trio of starting flights starting with Day 1a on Thursday, June 10 at 11:10 a.m. Days 1b and 1c will take place at the same time on Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12 respectively. Late registration for each flight will remain open until approximately 6:25 p.m. local time.
The tournament starts players with 30,000 in chips and plays 40-minute levels throughout.
The surviving players from each starting flight will return for Day 2 action at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 13. Those who make it through the day will then come back at Noon on Monday, June 14 to play down to a winner.

A player in early position opened to 1,500 and was called by John Morgan in the hijack and both players in the blinds.
Action checked to Morgan on the flop, and he bet 1,000. The player in the small blind then check-raised to 5,000 and action folded back to Morgan, who shoved in his remaining chips. The small blind called and hands were tabled.

Morgan would need to fade hearts or running cards to a full house, but the came immediately on the turn and left him needing the board to pair.
It wasn't meant to be, as the completed the board, sending Morgan to the rail. Morgan re-entered shortly after busting.
The player in the cutoff opened to 2,200 and found one caller in Kathy Liebert from the big blind.
Both players checked on the flop, but Liebert bet out 3,000 on the turn. Her opponent called.
The filled the river and Liebert quickly bet 10,000. Her opponent called again and Liebert tabled for top two pair, which was good as her opponent mucked.
