Franklin Doubles

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

After busting his first bullet, Ryan Franklin has already made more of his second. He just recently picked up pocket kings and double up, but he had to do it the hard way as his opponent held two aces. Franklin hit a king, though, and had his opponent barely covered to eliminate the player and move to 43,000 in chips.

Set of Eights for Savill

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the final board of {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, Sterling Savill fired a bet of 7,150 into a pot of around 10,000 after one player checked. Tim Shortell was behind Savill, and he tanked for a bit before folding. Then, the first player called. Savill showed the {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for a set of his, and his opponent mucked her hand.
