Passanante Makes a Move

Satoshi Tanaka opened to 1,000,000 in the cutoff holding A♣2♦, and Lucas Rea made the call in the small blind with Q♦8♦. Jared Passanante looked down to see Q♠8♣ in the big blind, and tossed in a call.

All three players declined to bet on the 10♣6♦9♠ flop, and the A♥ turn hit the felt. Rea and Passanante checked to Tanaka again, who opted to check back his pair of aces.

The 5♣ river saw Rea check one last time, and Passanante slid out a bet of 2,200,000. Tanaka took some time before letting his hand go, and Rea followed with a fold allowing Passanante to pick up the pot.

Rea made the call, and the K♥2♥Q♦ flop was fanned out. Rea checked to Love, who continued with a bet of 2,000,000. Rea then announced a raise to 5,500,000.

After taking some time, Love let his hand go and Rea added to his chip lead.
