Level 5 : 300/600, 50 ante

Within quick succession, Christine Hia and Hun Wei Lee departed. The former sent her chips to Carlos Gonzalez and Lee was eliminated in a flip against George Psarras.

John Caridad raised to 2,000 and Lee three-bet to 9,300. Psarras four-bet all in and Caridad folded, while Lee called all in for 29,900.

Hun Wei Lee: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
George Psarras: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

Jay Doubles Through Thomson

Level 5 : 300/600, 50 ante

The flop read {3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Pavan Jay had the all-in button in front of him in the under-the-gun position. John Thomson had a bet of 1,750 in front of him in the middle position and asked the dealer to take out his bet from the shove so he could see how much more it would be. The dealer did and confirmed it would be 7,025 extra for the call. Thomson cut out calling chips and made the call.

Pavan Jay: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
John Thomson: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Jay had flopped a set and Thomson top pair.

The turn was the {k-Spades} to now give Thomson two pair but keep Jay ahead.

The river completed the board with the {5-Spades} for Jay to double up while Thomson complimented him on the hand.

Tran Adds More to His Stack

Level 5 : 300/600, 50 ante
Collin Tran
Collin Tran

Jake Mehmet raised to 1,300 from under the gun and Yang Zhang called the late position. Collin Tran three-bet to 4,300 on the button and was called by both Mehmet and Tran.

The flop came {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, Mehmet and Zhang checked for Tran to continue with a bet of 5,100 which only Mehmet called.

They both checked through the {8-Hearts} on the turn to the {5-Spades} on the river. Mehmet check-called the 8,300 bet of Tran. Tran tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for the pair of aces with the king-kicker. Mehmet flashed {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for the same pair but the lower kicker for the pot to be pushed Tran's way.

Campion Misses Flush Draw; Wins Hand

Level 5 : 300/600, 50 ante

On a five-way flop of {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}, the action checked to David Campion and he bet 6,000 for more than the pot. He picked up one caller and they checked the {a-Hearts} turn. After the {9-Diamonds} river, Campion's opponent bet 12,000 and that sent Campion into the think tank.

He eventually called and his opponent announced "that's the second time I missed my flush draw," while tabling {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Campion had also been on a flush draw, but his {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} rivered a pair to earn the pot.
