Chedid Busts to Laoyont

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

In the third clash between Patrick Laoyont and Eshan Chedid, Sam Capra opened to 800 from the cutoff and was called by Laoyont on the button. Chedid three-bet to 4,300 in the big blind and Capra quickly folded. Laoyont looked at Chedid's stack and then decided to make the call.

The flop came {6-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, Chedid shoved for 7,700 and was snap-called by Laoyont.

Eshan Chedid: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Patrick Laoyont: {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Chedid had a pair of queens but Laoyont was ahead with the flopped pair of kings.

The rest of the board was completed with the {3-Clubs} on the turn and the {a-Hearts} on the river for Chedid to not get any help as he was sent to the rail.

Shortly after, Akshay Kapoor was moved to the table to fill the empty seat up.

Yazbeck Can't Get Rid of Badaoui

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Alex Yazbeck raised to 850 and received no fewer than five callers including Ray Badaoui. On the {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop, action checked to Yazbeck and his continuation bet of 1,200 resulted in a raise to 3,600 by Badaoui in the hijack. Only Yazbeck called and they checked the {6-Clubs} turn and {9-Clubs} river.

Yazbeck tabled {j-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Badaoui won the pot with {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

Kharman and Ishac Chop

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Sam Capra raised to 800 from the early position and was called by Akshay Kapoor in the hijack. Jamal Ishac three-bet to 3,600 on the button. Adam Kharman was considering his options for a while in the big blind and then decided to four-bet to 8,500. Capra and Kapoor quickly folded. Ishac counted out his own stack, contemplating his options for a bit and then made the call.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}, Kharman continued with a bet of 6,000 which Ishac called.

They then both checked through the {9-Diamonds} on the turn and the {4-Clubs} on the river. Kharman tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for Ishac to quickly flip over {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for the same cards to chop the pot.

Kondevski and Mehmet Win Pots

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Suzy Khoueis bet the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} turn for 2,000 in the small blind and faced resistance in Jake Mehmet in the cutoff, who raised it up to 6,400. Khoueis was tempted but eventually sent her cards into the muck.

A few tables over, Todor Kondevski was in action against Patrick Yazbeck and check-jammed the {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades} turn into a bet of 5,500 by Patrick Yazbeck. The pot until then was 9,500 and Yazbeck engaged in table chat.

"Pocket sixes?" Yazbeck inquired and Kondevski replied "I don't know, it's been a long time. I am getting old."

Yazbeck eventually folded and Kondevski raked in the pot without showing his cards.

Until the river of a board {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}, there were already 23,000 in the middle and Guangyu Wang pushed all in. Peter Stott had 19,500 behind and eventually called to get shown the {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} for four of a kind by Wang.

"Aces?" Wang asked Stott, who flashed the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and headed to the rail. Ironically, Stott was sitting on table four seat four, and found his fate in pocket fours.

Robert Damelian
Robert Damelian

Robert Damelian pushed all in twice in a row after he had lost the vast majority of his stack. In the second hand he was called by Terence Clee and tabled {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}, Clee turned over {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

The {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{k-Clubs} flop left Damelian in bad shape, but he regained the lead with the {a-Diamonds} turn. The {3-Clubs} river brought no further twist and Damelian remained in contention.
