Yong Takes from Cates; Gives it to Aldemir

Dan Cates raised to 100,000 first to act and Wai Kin Yong three-bet to 280,000 from the cutoff, Cates called. On the flop, Cates checked and folded to a bet worth 200,000 by Yong.

The next hand, Yong raised to 100,000 from under the gun and Koray Aldemir called in the big blind. Aldemir check-called a bet worth 150,000 on the flop before the duo checked the turn. After the river, Aldemir bet 395,000 and Yong called after some consideration.

Within two hands, the stack of defending Triton Super High Roller Series Manila Main Event Wai Kin Yong has been reduced to zero.

Hand 1

Bryn Kenney opened to 110,000 and Yong shoved all in from the small blind, Kenney called within a heartbeat.

Another two hands would see the next player out of chips and it was Devan Tang who had to settle for 5th place and a payday of $361,400.

Tang open-shoved from the button for his last 175,000 and Koray Aldemir called in the big blind.

"I hope you flop a flush," Tang joked, and the board came to let Tang double with ace-high.

Hand 2

One hand later, Tang moved all in again, this time for 395,000 from the cutoff. Aldemir called out of the small blind and Sergio Aido got out of the way in the big blind.

The flop of was a sweat with top two pair versus straight and flush draw. After the turn, Aldemir improved to a straight and the blank river changed nothing anymore. Tang doubled once, but could not fade the run-good of Aldemir a second time to join the rail.

After the hand, the stop was clocked and Daniel Colman was presented the trophy for taking down the 6-Max Event.

Aldemir Shoves Into Cates

Dan Cates raised from the button and Sergio Aido called in the big blind. There weren't many chips in by the time the board had run out , and Aido bet 200,000. Cates raised to 500,000 and Aido folded.

One hand later, Koray Aldemir raised to 110,000 first to act and Bryn Kenney called in the small blind. Cates three-bet to 450,000 in the big blind and Aldemir took some time before moving all in. Both Kenney and Cates folded and Cates shook his head.

"You must have had a nice looking hand. Like jack three off," Kenney joked to Cates.
