After folding the next two hands, Yu Liang was then all in for his last 12,000, less than a big blind, in the hijack. Phil Ivey min-raised to 32,000 from the button and the blinds folded.

The flop of left Liang in desperate shape needing running sevens for quads. It was not meant to be, as the turn and river completed the board.
Pratyush Buddiga opened the action with a raise to 35,000 and Dan Cates three-bet to 110,000 in the cutoff. On the button, Wai Kin Yong moved all in and Buddiga folded. Cates' raise was pulled in and Yong was all in for another 116,000. Cates gave it plenty of thought and folded with a disgusted look on the face.
Sergio Aido raised to 35,000 from the cutoff and Elton Tsang called on the button. David Peters in the small blind three-bet to 145,000 with around 300,000 behind and the action folded back to Aido. The Spaniard gave it some thought and then announced all in, sliding forward a tower of chips that had Peters covered.
Tsang folded with the words "I was gonna go all in if you didn't" and Peters quickly called.

The flop of was safe for Peters, but Aido picked up a straight draw on the turn. Sure enough, the fell on the river to complete the jack-high straight and Peters was eliminated.
Paul Phua started the day as one of the big stacks, but the chips kept disappearing until just 150,000 remained. He then faced a raise to 35,000 by Sergio Aido and Phua moved all in from the big blind, picking up a snap-call by the dominating chip leader.

The board of ensured that the kicker played and Aido sent the second player to the rail in a row, further boosting his already massive stack.
Dan Cates recovered by winning a bigger pot off Koray Aldemir towards the end of the level when betting the river of a board for 120,000 out of the small blind. Koray Aldemir in the big blind folded and dropped to around 1.1 million.
Over on table two, Elton tsang raised to 38,000 and Wai Kin Yong defended the big blind. On the flop the duo checked. On the turn, Yong bet 43,000 and that won the pot.
Elton Tsang opened to 38,000 and Daniel Colman called in the small blind. Wai Kin Yong then three-bet to 123,000 out of the big blind and Tsang folded, Colman called. The flop fell and Colman checked, Yong continued for 110,000 and Colman moved all in.
Yong took a few moments before calling for his last 385,000 and the cards were tabled, while the hand had lasted several minutes into the break.

Defending Triton Super High Roller Series Manila Main Event champion Wai Kin Yong went from a tiny stack of just 44,000 to one of the chip leaders within just one hour, and just knocked out John Juanda.
Yong raised to 45,000 in the cutoff and Juanda pushed for his last 314,000 in the small blind. "Show me ace ten, I have outs against that," Juanda said and his wish was granted.
