Only 15 Players Remain

Level 11 : 0/0, 12,000 ante
Thomas Goldstein
Thomas Goldstein

Within a few minutes from each other, Thomas Goldstein and Wai Kin Yong were eliminated on the outer tables.

On table one, five players headed to the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{8-Spades} flop and Thomas Goldstein bet to pick up three callers.. Goldstein then also bet the {7-Diamonds} turn for 300,000 from the hijack and Jason Koon on the button raised it up to 800,000. That forced out Sean Dempsey and Phil Ivey, while Goldstein moved all in for some 1.7 million. Tom Dwan also folded, but Koon as table chip leader snap-called.

Thomas Goldstein: {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Jason Koon: {9-Spades}{6-Spades}

"Do you have outs?" Devan Tang asked before Goldstein had flipped over his cards, and the American nodded. However, the {Q-Diamonds} on the river was a blank and the nut straight of Koon scored a massive pot.

Shot Clock in Play; Action Slows Down

Level 11 : 0/0, 12,000 ante

With 15 players remaining, the 30-second shot clock has been introduced and the action after that slowed down by quite a lot. Winfred Yu jammed twice preflop to force folds from limpers and boost his stack slightly.

Apart from that, no big showdown has taken place as the money bubble with 12 spots paid is looming.

Paul Phua and Winfred Yu limped in and Ivan Leow raised to 200,000. Marius Torbergsen called the 200,000 and Phua folded. Yu then moved all in for around 1.6 million and Leow called it off for what appeared to be 950,000, Torbergsen folded.

Ivan Leow: {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Winfred Yu: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

The board ran out {J-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Leow was eliminated just shy of the money bubble.

Guo Short; Phua Below a Million

Level 11 : 0/0, 12,000 ante

Yong Gang Guo has lost some pots while chasing over on the feature table and Paul Phua also dropped below a million on the outer tables.

Phua opened to 80,000 and Winfred Yu three-bet to 380,000 from one seat over. Wai Leong Chan seemed interested on the button, but elected to fold, and Phua did so while saying in table chat he had ace-queen.

Hand-for-Hand on Money Bubble

Level 11 : 0/0, 12,000 ante

There was a casualty on the feature table with the details to come when the 30 minute delay has caught up. On the outer tables, Tom Dwan jammed a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and got through with it.

Over on the other outer table, Wai Leong Chan raised to 135,000 from the hijack and Winfred Yu called on the button. Both checked the {K-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop. On the {6-Spades} turn, Chan checked and called a bet of 130,000 before the {10-Spades} river completed the board. Chan now bet 390,000 and Yu eventually called.

Chan turned over the {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Yu had that beat with {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for the straight.

Right after that, hand-for-hand on the money bubble kicked off.

Rui Cao
Rui Cao

Over on the feature table a four-way limped pot brought the {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop and Rui Cao bet small with the {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Yong Gang Guo called with {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. On the {10-Hearts} turn, Cao bet 85,000 and Guo moved all in for 564,000, Cao snap-called.

The cards were turned over and Guo sighed when he found out he needed an ace or ten.The river was the blank {J-Diamonds} and Cao claimed a big pot to reduce the field to the last 13.
