The first of the four events is the two-day Short Deck Ante Only that comes with a buy-in of HKD250,000 (approximately $31,850 / €26,600). Compared to regular No-Limit Hold'em, this format features a 36-card deck with the 2s, 3s, 4s, and 5s removed, with aces doubling as a five instead. With just 36 cards instead of 52, straights become more common, while flushes are a rare sight. In order to adjust for this, the hand ranking chart has been updated and a flush beats a full house.
There's are no blinds; instead, the game is played ante-only, with the button posting a double ante. All players 100,000 in chips, plus two extra 100k bullets to be added at any time. Day 1 of the two-day event will feature 12 levels of 45 minutes each and multiple re-entry are available during the registration period until the end ofthe 15-minute dinner break after level nine.
Follow along as the PokerNews live reporting team will bring you all the action, and there will also be a live stream broadcast in multiple languages available for the first time as well.
While several players have already been spotted checking out the tournament area, the staff has not announced any specific start time just yet and that's not uncommon for High Roller Events. Triton founder Richard Yong and his son Wai Kin Yong, who won the Triton Super High Roller Series Main Event in Manila 2016, were also already here. Stay tuned for more!

There was another small pot played directly afterward, which the newly arrived Wai Kin Yong took down with a flop bet before there were fireworks on the hand after.
There were several limps before Devan Tang raised to 16,000 from the cutoff. Kaplin decided to go for the limp re-raise and banged in 200,000 with Tang the only caller.
