Heath Finds a Call from Zhang on the River

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Ben Heath opened to 120,000 from the cutoff with {a-Spades}{6-Spades}, Michael Chi Zhang was holding {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and defended his big blind, the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Zhang checked to Heath, he bet 80,000 and Zhang check-raised to 290,000.

Heath called and the dealer flipped over a {5-Spades} on the turn, giving Heath a flush draw. Both players checked and the river brought a {10-Spades}, completing the flush for Heath.

Zhang led out for 580,000 and Heath moved all in for 1,505,000. Zhang thought for several minutes but in the end, he called the all in and Heath tabled his flush, taking down the pot from Zhang.

Xuan Doubles Through Eibiner

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Matthias Eibinger raised to 160,000 from the hijack with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and Tan Xuan moved all in for 685,000 from the small blind with {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

Eibinger called when the action folded back around, and the cards were turned on their backs.

The cards fell {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}, and Xuan hit a flush on the turn to retake the lead having seen Eibinger hit top pair on the flop.

Xuan secured the double and Eibiner was reduced to 2.3million.

Cates Flips with Adams

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Timothy Adams moved all in for 1,040,000 from the button with {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Daniel Cates looked down at {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} in the small blind. Cates called all in behind for 890,000 and the two were flipping.

Daniel Cates: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Timothy Adams: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The flop came down massive for Cates as the dealer fanned out {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, giving him a set. A {k-Clubs} on the turn had Adams drawing dead to the {3-Spades} river. Cates secured a completed double with his set of nines against Adams.

Phua Doubles Through Cates

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Paul Phua moved all in for 860,000 from middle position with {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}, and Daniel Cates called from the cutoff with {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

The flop fell {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, and Cates hit two pair. Phua had the flush draw, and when the {8-Clubs} hit on the turn, he retook the lead.

The {k-Clubs} river card was no use to Cates, and Triton co-founder Phua survived.

Sosia Jiang

Sosia Jiang moved all in for 230,000 from the button with {q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, Michael Soyza called in the small blind with {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and Matthias Eibinger jump in as well from the big blind, holding {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

The dealer spread {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} out on the flop, Soyza checked to Eibinger who bet 255,000 and Soyza called. A {6-Hearts} landed on the turn, Soyza checked and Eibinger moved all in for 1,525,000. Soyza snap-called and the players turned over their hands.

Sosia Jiang: {q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Matthias Eibinger: {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Michael Soyza: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Jiang was drawing dead to the river and if Eibinger missed then two would be taking an exit. A fortuitous {9-Diamonds} landed on the river for Eibinger, doubling through Soyza with his rivered flush, eliminating Jiang in the process.
