Igor Kurganov opened to 1,300,000 from the hijack and Bill Perkins called all in for 1,155,000. The two tabled their hands and the start of the day chipleader was at risk of elimination.
The flop came down and Perkins took a commanding lead with his set of jacks. The dealer burned and turned one of the best cards in the deck for Kurganov as the hit the felt.
The crowd lit up with excitement as Kurganov now had a lot of outs to knock Perkins out on the bubble. Unfortunately for Kurganov, the landed as a river card. Perkins scooped in the pot for a complete double, leaving Kurganov with crumbs.
