Trotter Doubles Didenka; Doubles Through Ramiro

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Liudas Didenka got it in from an early position for the last 235,000 and Paul Trotter did so as well, sending all other players out of the way.

Liudas Didenka: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Paul Trotter: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The dominated pair found no equity on the {9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} board and Trotter was left with seven and a half blinds.

These went in via three-bet shove right after and Michael Ramiro called.

Paul Trotter: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Michael Ramiro: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The next premium pair for the player at risk came out on top on the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} board for Trotter to double right back.

Sitbon Leaves Sidhu Short

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Julien Sitbon defended the big blind against a raise to 40,000 by Kully Sidhu and check-called a bet on the {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop. He opted to check again the {5-Clubs} turn and Sidhu now made it 110,000 to go, earning yet another call by Sitbon.

Both players knuckled the {a-Spades} on the river and Sitbon's {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for trips aces won the pot.

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Alex Whitenstall raised to 70,000 out of the small blind and Antoine Saout came along to see the {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Whitenstall now opted to check-call for 80,000 and then did so again for 115,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn.

After the {5-Clubs} river, Whitenstall checked once more and Saout then moved all-in with the covering stack. Whitenstall had some 380,000 behind and reluctantly folded.

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Alberto Speranzoni
Alberto Speranzoni

Alex Whitenstall moved all-in once to steal the blinds and antes. He then raised to 40,000 and Antoine Saout eyeballed his stack before making it 110,000 to go from one seat over. Out of the big blind, Alberto Speranzoni also checked Whitenstall's stack, who counted it out, and the Italian then moved all-in for around 650,000.

Whitenstall folded and Saout snap-called.

Alberto Speranzoni: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Antoine Saout: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Speranzoni knew even before he rolled over the cards that his pocket pair was dominated. The {k-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} board delivered no help and that spelled the end for Speranzoni in 22nd place for £3,895.

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Raymond Caabay
Raymond Caabay

Raymond Caabay was the far shortest stack on his table and waited for a spot to get the chips in. Some six and a half blinds were at his disposal in the cutoff and that's when he jammed. Dongze Hao in the big blind glanced at his cards and snap-called when it was his turn to act.

Raymond Caabay: {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Dongze Hao: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Caabay spiked an open-ender on the {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop to have a guaranteed chance at survival no matter what the next card were. The turn was the {a-Clubs} and the {5-Spades} river send Caabay to the payout desk to collect £3,895 for the efforts.

Alex Whitenstall Eliminated in 20th Place (£4,477)

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Alex Whitenstall
Alex Whitenstall

Antoine Saout opened the action with a raise from under the gun to get called by Alex Whitenstall. The flop fell {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Whitenstall checked, Saout bet 35,000 and the check-raise for one third of Whitenstall's remaining stack.

The shove by Saout was then called by Whitenstall to create the following showdown.

Alex Whitenstall: {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Antoine Saout: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Whitenstall's pair and flush draw was up against aces with the nut heart blocker. No help came along on the {7-Spades} turn and the {7-Clubs} river ensured that the rich got richer. Whitenstall's exit in 20th place comes with a payday of £4,477.

Sidhu Doubles Through Hecklen; Hao Chips Up

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Henrik Hecklen was all-in before the flop and Kully Sidhu also got his last 215,000 in as well.

"I think you gonna win this time," Hecklen said even though he was ahead with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} versus {a-Spades}{5-Hearts}. The prediction of the Dane came true on the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades} board and both switched positions on the leaderboard.

Sidhu was then all-in with {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} against the {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} of Liudas Didenka and there was no four-card flush shenanigans.

In the meanwhile, Dongze Hao had a bet worth 200,000 on the {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Clubs} river paid off by Rickie Vedhara. Hao rolled over the {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a full house to chip up further and consolidate his big stack.

Henrik Hecklen
Henrik Hecklen

The action started with a cutoff raise to 40,000 by Julien Sitbon and Henrik Hecklen pushed for the last 240,000 in the small blind. Sitbon asked for a count and came along.

Henrik Hecklen: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Julien Sitbon: {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
