Farodoye Eliminates Liperis to Burst the Bubble

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Yiannis Liperis
Yiannis Liperis

Yiannis Liperis was forced all in from the big blind. [Removed:409] and Thanh Truong came to see a flop.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Truong checked to Farodoye who bet. Truong folded. Farodoye and Liperis waited until all hands had concluded.

Yiannis Liperis: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
[Removed:409]: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

Farodoye revealed that he had flopped two pair while Liperis had yet to see his cards. Liperis said "They're both red" as he hoped to have a flush draw. However he had diamonds and was drawing dead on the {5-Clubs} turn. The river of the {8-Clubs} was meaningless as Liperis was sent home with nothing to show for his effort.
