Alessandro Spina: AJ

Both players had paired their ace and Brandt was ahead with the king kicker. The turn came the 6 and the river was the 4. Brandt held to win the pot, leaving Spina with less than two big blinds.

UKIPT Season Finale Main Event Plays Down to Winner Today, Matthew Bonham Leads

Main Event Trophy
Main Event Trophy

This is what it's all been building up to. It's time for the Final Day of the Season Finale of the UK and Ireland Poker Tour 2023, running at Dusk Till Dawn Poker and Casino in Nottingham. The action kicks off at 12 p.m. local time and the event will play down to a winner.

A total of 1,227 entries were made across all starting flights, meaning the Main Event surpassed the guarantee and reached an incredible prize pool of £1,177,920.

There are ten players left in contention. The next payout is worth £14,350. The winner is set to walk away with £201,700.

Matthew Bonham will return for the Final Day as chip leader with 10,050,000, which is more than double the stack of his closest rivals. Bonham is a recreational player, a car trader from Peterborough who has played at Dusk Till Dawn for many years and is now looking to lock up his biggest ever cash. He's had one bullet and could potentially convert that into a six figure score.

Returning in second place is Thomas Middleton with 4,835,000. Niall Murray is close behind in third place with 4,780,000.
