Csiszar Stacked

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The board was already completed, reading {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, and Alexandre Clar had checked with about 12,000 chips behind. Matyas Csiszar put him to the test in a bigger pot and the Frenchman eventually called it off before reluctantly showing his cards. It was obvious that he could not beat the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} of Csiszar, but as per the tournament rules on all in showdown, he had to table the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

Csiszar doesn't speak much English, but from what we understood he min-raised and called a three-bet preflop to 6,000 before then raising the turn big once he had made the straight. Clar was not willing to let go his second pair and the flush draw, leaving himself committed to the final shove.

Maisano Gets Shot Down

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The full betting action until the {5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop is unknown, but there were about 18,000 chips in the pot and Mirco Maisano from under the gun as well as Michal Kanarkiewicz from one seat over clashed. The player from Poland was all in and at risk for his last 32,700 with the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} while Maisano had one out left, holding the {A-Spades}{8-Spades}.

The {J-Spades} river was of no help and suddenlym Maisano has less than starting stack remaining.

A Gift from Tripodi

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Right back from the break, Dylan Gessel busted with his 13 big blinds. Yannick Azzopardi had even less than that and three-bet shoved for 9,100 chips after a min-raise by Clement Tripodi. The latter tanked for a bit and then said "cadeau" when tossing in the chips. That translates to "gift" and it indeed turned out to be a gift for Azzopardi, who held {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}.

Tripodi had two live cards with the {8-Hearts}{10-Clubs} but the short stack locked up the double after the turn of a {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{K-Spades} board already.

Time for Dinner

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

Another session of two 60-minute levels has passed by and the players have been sent into a 90-minute long dinner break. Pasqualini on the Rail

This Should be Fun

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

On the four-way flop of {3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades}, the action checked around to Anthony Giangrasso and he bet 2,000 to receive a call from Guillaume Bacri in the big blind only, Clement Tripodi mucked and Gilbert Diaz was not in the hand but completes an interesting table line-up.

The {6-Hearts} turn saw no betting action before Bacri then fired 3,000 after the {2-Diamonds} river. Giangrasso tanked for a while, took off his sunglasses and eventually called to muck to the {A-Spades}{9-Clubs} of his opponent.

Big Clash on Table Three

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

Arriving to the table with the {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{J-Spades} turn spread, Eric Abbas moved all in for 12,900 into a pot of what looked like 23,000. Kanstantsin Kamenka made the call from a few seats over and Fred Weiss then reshoved for 32,900. Abbas looked stunned, stood up and grabbed his jacket already.

Kamenka needed some time but made the call eventually for the additional 20,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for two pair. Abbas was drawing dead already with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}, because Weiss had flopped it with the {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. The {6-Hearts} river even gave Weiss a straight flush and Kamenka was not amused at all.

Maisano Gets Another

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

Mirco Maisano lost some chips during the last half an hour and then got the stack of Hampus Rosdalen a few moments ago. The Swede was all in for his last 12,100 before the flop with {A-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Maisano looked him up with the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} to turn the nuts on a board of {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.
