Ongorur Plus One Busts

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Mehmet Ongorur
Mehmet Ongorur

In the last hand on the feature table, one further player busted and Mehmet Ongorur left the competition almost at the same time. Again it was Pierre Antona who got the better of him on a flop of {K-Clubs}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}. Ongorur committed his last chips with the {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Antona had him caught with the {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}.

Both the {4-Hearts} turn and {K-Hearts} river bricked, sending Ongorur to the rail in 23rd place.

Palvini Busts on the Feature Table

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 3,000 ante
Jeremy Palvini
Jeremy Palvini

Within two hands, the remaining stack of Jeremy Palvini have vanished on the feature table. First Joachim Kleiven doubled through him with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} from the button versus the under the gun shove of the Frenchman, holding the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}. The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades}{9-Spades}.

Palvini was very short and in the big blind next, his {K-Hearts}{J-Spades} stood no chance against Fred Weiss' {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts} on a board of {Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

Leone Limps to Bustout

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Giuseppe Leone and Loic Francois
Giuseppe Leone and Loic Francois

Giuseppe Leone limped from under the gun and then called a raise to 37,000, which was previously also paid by one further player as well as Loic Francois in the big blind. On the {4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, Leone went broke with the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Francois stayed in for obvious reasons, holding the {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the bottom end of the straight - the other two players had mucked.

Neither the {A-Clubs} turn nor {10-Diamonds} river could save Leone and he exited in 25th place. The live stream should have caught up with the first previous seat open now, too.

Even Now

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Julien Bolimowski raised from early position over on table 1 and Michael Lancri defended his big blind to see a heads-up flop of {9-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Lancri check-raised from 27,000 to 57,000 and Bolimowski then announced a further raise. He made it 130,000 to go and that enforced a fold from Lancri, who flashed the {A-Diamonds}.

Konttinen Survives

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The cards were almost rushed away but the cruel {7-Hearts} on the river was still laying there, burning some pain and a dent into the stack of Florian Ferroni. The Frenchman had Matti Konttinen at risk with {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} and the Finn only held {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, but the two-outer kept him in the tournament.
