At noon Day 1b of the Unibet Open Copenhagen will start with a fresh new batch of players. Day 1b was already sold out yesterday, but the casino might add some extra tables to accommodate some late comers. Yesterday saw 167 players register on Day 1a, today should see more than 200 players start.

The plan for the day is to again play 10 one-hour levels. 15-minute breaks will be after level 2, 4 and 8. A sixty-minute dinner break is scheduled after level 6.

Players receive a 30,000 starting stack, translating to 300 big blinds with the first level being 50/100. Antes kick in in the third level; 100/200 with 25 ante.

PokerNews will be on sight the entire day for updates of all the big pots (and big suck outs). A live streamed feature table starts at 2 p.m. local time. See you in 90 minutes!

All the tables are occupied right now, it looks like this day is fully packed. The clock mentions 230 players, but we're not entirely sure that number is correct at the moment.

Paulo Rodrigues and Mike Hill both made the final table in London last november. Rodrigues finished 6th for £13,500, Hill ended up runner up for £45,000. Both are in the field today.

Also playing today, right next to Hill, is Swedish poker player and poker journalist Rikard Aberg.
