Then, he raised a few times without finding resistance before running into Teodor Cap Bun. Danut raised to 2,000, Cap Bun made it 5,500 to go and then called the shove for 31,000.
Vasile Paul Plastoi raised from the hijack and then called the three-bet to 5,800 by Amitai Or. The latter bet the flop for 6,000 and Plastoi quickly folded.
One hand later, Plastoi made it 2,100 to go and Bastian Schaefer called from one seat over, as did Or in the small blind to announce a check in the dark. The trio ended up checking down the board of entirely and Plastoi announced ace-high, Or already mucked. Schaefer then turned over his and scooped the pot.
Despite losing these two hands, Plastoi is among the big stacks just before dinner with five times of what he started with.
