The last 16 players of the Unibet Open Copenhagen will return to the casino at noon to battle it out for the Main Event trophy and €70,514 first-place prize.
Leading the way is Evgueny Ievkov from Finland who's bringing 1,389,000 in chips to the table, worth 58 big blinds at the start. He's followed by Patrick Coughlin from the United States (1,061,000, 44 bb) and Mudassar Khan from Denmark (1,017,000, 42 bb).
Petri Vesa Jiuutilainen from Finland and Tutku Halim Kara from Denmark are at the bottom of the pack with respectively 122,000 (5 bb) and 142,000 (6 bb) in chips.
The first level to be played is 12,000/24,000 with a 4,000 ante. While play will resume at 12, the live stream will start at 1:30 p.m. local time. Petri Vesa Jiuutilainen was all in for 350,000 over a bet of 122,000 by Rune Thomsen. The latter called with and was leading against the of Jiuutilainen. The on the turn and on the river did nothing for him, and he made his exit.
Not much later Aidan Ball followed him out the door. He defended his big blind with and got his stack in on e 6-high flop. His opponent had pocket tens and Ball made his departure.

From late position, Joni Limatta opened and Jasper Van Vlasselaer shoved all in from the small blind for about 300,000 or so. Limatta made the call.

Soren Blanner raised the cutoff to 60,000 and got called by Rune Thomsen on the button and the player in the big blind.
The flop came and the big blind checked. Blanner bet 95,000 and just Thomsen called.
The hit the turn and Blanner bet 175,000. Thomsen cut out 375,000, announced the raise, and moved his chips forward. He then pulled his shirt over his head and hid under the table.
Blanner asked is Thomsen would show if he folded, which prompted Thomsen to peek up for just a bit before hiding under the table again. Blanner eventually folded and Thomsen gathered the chips.
The tournament director told Thomsen hiding under the table wasn't allowed in future hands.
