Tutku Halim Kara Eliminated

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Tutku Halim Kara shoved under the gun for 138,000 and action folded to Mudassar Khan in the big blind. He tanked for a bit before he called.

Tutku Halim Kara: {6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Mudassar Khan: {A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

The {7-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop gave Kara some outs, and he increased the cards he could hit with the {J-Hearts} on the turn. The {7-Clubs} on the river was a blank however, and Kara made his exit in 16th place.

Two More Eliminations

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Petri Vesa Jiuutilainen was all in for 350,000 {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} over a bet of 122,000 by Rune Thomsen. The latter called with {10-Spades}{6-Spades} and was leading against the {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} of Jiuutilainen. The {A-Spades} on the turn and {6-Diamonds} on the river did nothing for him, and he made his exit.

Not much later Aidan Ball followed him out the door. He defended his big blind with {8-}{6-} and got his stack in on e 6-high flop. His opponent had pocket tens and Ball made his departure.

Thomsen Hides Under the Table

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Soren Blanner raised the cutoff to 60,000 and got called by Rune Thomsen on the button and the player in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and the big blind checked. Blanner bet 95,000 and just Thomsen called.

The {6-Spades} hit the turn and Blanner bet 175,000. Thomsen cut out 375,000, announced the raise, and moved his chips forward. He then pulled his shirt over his head and hid under the table.

Blanner asked is Thomsen would show if he folded, which prompted Thomsen to peek up for just a bit before hiding under the table again. Blanner eventually folded and Thomsen gathered the chips.

The tournament director told Thomsen hiding under the table wasn't allowed in future hands.

Taking it Easy

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

After a tumultuous start, play has now slowed down a bit. The players are trading chips but no huge pots have been played recently.
