Bhavin Khatri opens to 125,000 with {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} from under the gun. Mate Mecs raises all in for 320,000 chips from cut-off with {K-Spades}{J-Spades}.

David Shallow tries to isolate the action with {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} by four-betting to 510,000 from the small blind and then gets out of the way when Khatri five-bets to 1.4 million.

Mecs was almost drawing dead after the flop came out {3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. His hopes of surviving temporarily increased when the {J-Clubs} appeared on the turn, however, he hit the showered eliminated in fifth place for £15,770 after the {5-Diamonds} completed the board.

Benjamin Lebor Eliminated in Sixth Place (£12,670)

Benjamin Lebor

Shortly after doubling up, Benjamin Lebor open-shoved all-in for 850,000 from the hijack with {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Bhavin Khatri with {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} tanked for a minute before calling with players in the blinds quickly folding.

Lebor, feeling he was maybe being slow-rolled stated to the table, "Well that took a long time." David Shallow pointed out it wasn't a slowroll saying, "He had to think about action from the blinds." Khatri confirms that was the case stating, "If it was heads-up, I would snap call."

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} sealing Lebor's fate for the day and shipping a sizable 1,850,000 chip pot to Khatri. Lebor shakes the hands of his opponents after being eliminated in sixth place for £12,670.

Benjamin Lebor Doubles

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Benjamin Lebor went all-in for 460,000 chips from under the gun with {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}. David Shallow calls off about one-quarter of his stack with {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts} from the big blind. The {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts} board was of no help to Shallow, and Lebor doubles up his small stack to 990,000 chips.

Akos Gergely Eliminated in Seventh Place (£10,540)

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Akos Gergely
Akos Gergely

Shortly after Khatri losing with pocket jacks, he found himself holding another premium hand. The action began with Julien Rouxel min-raising from early position with {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} to 100,000. Akos Gergely three-bet from the button to 255,000 holding {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

Bhavin from the big blind opted to four-bet shove to 1.8 million with {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and Akos Gergely called for his remaining stack of around 1.1 million.

Bhavin, who was hitting sets with under-pairs yesterday in Day 2, including in a critical spot on the bubble, does it once again by flopping the world when the dealer turned over {J-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades}. Gergely was unable to comeback when the {J-Spades} appeared on the turn followed by the {4-Clubs} on the river.

Gergely collects £10,540 for finishing in seventh place with all remaining players now guaranteed a payout of at least £12,670.

Shallow No Longer Shallow After Doubling Against Khatri

David Shallow

Bhavin Khatri opens the action from under-the-gun with {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} with a raise to 105,000 chips. The action folds around to David Shallow on the button who three-bet jams all-in for 850,000 chips with {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Action folds back around to Khatri who quickly calls leading us to the flop.

Flop: {2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

While Khatri is still ahead on the flop, it becomes more of a coin-flip situation at this point with any heart now also helping Shallow in addition to any of the three remaining aces. The {8-Hearts} completes Shallow's flush-draw. Khatri was drawing dead before the {10-Spades} appeared on the river with Shallow shipping a 1,810,000 pot.

Nicolas Ludwicki Eliminated in Eighth Place (£8,400)

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Akos Gergely wanted to raise from mid-position with {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, but because he only tossed one chip into the pot it was a call. This may have led to an earlier end to the day of Nicolas Ludwicki. Julien Rouxel called from the small blind with {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} while Ludwicki checked the action to the flop from the big blind with {10-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

Flop: {J-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

Rouxel opted to check the flop with top pair. Ludwicki quickly declared himself all-in for 240,000 chips with bottom pair. After Gregely folded and Rouxel called, things looked brighter for Ludwicki as he turned two-pair when the {10-Clubs} appeared. However, Ludwicki's two-pair became counterfeited after the {5-Clubs} spiked the river giving Rouxel a better two-pair.

Ludwicki collected £8,400 for his eighth place finish and all the remaining players are now guaranteed a five-payout with the next spot paying £10,540.
