Simpson Vs. Fisher Part II

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante
Ian Simpson
Ian Simpson

Ian Simpson and Chris Fisher faced off once again. Fisher shared with us that he started the action by raising preflop getting three callers including Simpson.

Fisher fired out a bet of 3,000 into a pot of 6,500 on a flop of {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Simpson called and the other two opponents folded. Fisher was then all-in when the {9-Clubs} hit the turn and Simpson quickly called.

Fisher: {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Simpson: {9-}{9-}

Fisher was unable to hit his straight draw on the river and Simpson's set of nine's on the turn were good enough to beat Fisher's top-pair on the flop to send him to the rail.
