Farkas Joins the Rail

A raise to 525 by the player in under the gun was called by three opponents before Zoltan Farkas moved all in for approximately 8,600 in the small blind. Ioannis Vogiatzoglou reshoced from the big blind to force out everyone else and Farkas tabled {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. Vogiatzoglou had the dominating {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} and Farkas was left drawing dead on the turn of a board {6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}.

Magalashvili and Danut Clash

Michael Magalashvili lost a big pot against €2,200 High Roller finalist Radu Danut and then three-bet an open raise from 500 to 1,000. Danut three-bet to 2,000 fropm the button and Magalashvili called. The {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop and {6-Hearts} turn were checked and Magalashvili's bet of 2,000 on the {9-Spades} river forced a fold.

On the four-way flop of {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Nicolay Langfeldt checked out of the small blind and Gheorghe Costache bet 1,000. Ognyan Ivanov called, as did Mohamed Kerkeni on then button. Langfeldt check-raised to 4,000 and only Ivanov called. Both remaining players checked down the {3-Clubs} turn and {A-Hearts} river and Langfeldt claimed the po t with {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

Pressure for Simpson

Joining the action on the heads-up turn of {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, Florin Gavrilas checked out of the small blind and Ian Simpson in the cutoff bet 1,400. Gavrilas called and checked again the {A-Clubs} turn. Simpson made it 3,000 to go and Gavrilas check-raised to 10,000.

Simpson tried to get any kind of information but was receiving no reply from Gavrilas, and the Brit eventually folded to take an early hit.

Bostan Folds to Expensive Turn Bet

Levente Pal bet the three-way flop of {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for 1,000 from the cutoff and Zvi Bresler raised to 4,400 on the button. Defending champion Traian Bostan called out of the big blind and Pal also came along. On the {Q-Spades} turn, the action checked to Bresler and he bet 12,700.

That represented almost half of Bostan's stack and he elected to fold, as did Pal.
