Petrascu Doubles

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

Further recent casualties include Peter Jaksland, Emil Brunnberg, Bogdan Roman and Razvan Belea. The latter lost the vast majority of his stack, 26,975 to be exact, when he got it in with pocket tens against the {J-Hearts}{J-Spades} of Bogdan Petrascu and the board came {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}.

Fiey Loses a Small Pot

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

In a battle of the blinds, the board lay completed and showed {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and the small blind checked. Fabien Fiey bet 1,000 and his opponent called to see the eSports Star turn over {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. The small blind had that beat with {A-Spades}{9-Spades} and raked in the pot, leaving Fiey on around 23 big blinds.

Sophia White has lost a few chips while Dara O'Kearney more than doubled his stack.

Chiriac Joins the Big Stacks

Level 5 : 300/600, 75 ante

Ran Azor and Henrik Tellving already had big stacks and Petre Chiriac just joined them after sending Bogdan Agica to the rail. It was the third casualty in quick succession over on table 28.

Chiriac raised to 1,500 and reluctantly called the shove of Agica for 12,500 with the {A-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Agica turned over {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and saw the board run out {Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs} to give Chiriac a flush with his small kicker.

Kerkeni Folds to Two Jams

Level 5 : 300/600, 75 ante

George Petrica raised to 1,500 and Mohamed Kerkeni three-bet to 5,100 in the small blind. Adrian-Sorel State moved all in for 17,975 out of the big blind and Petrica reshoved for 19,400. Kerkeni reluctantly folded, claiming "Petrica" was too strong and State said "I am strong too" before turning over his {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}.

Petrica had a flip with {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} for most of his stack and held up as the board ran out {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. "What did you have?" State asked Kerkeni, who replied "queen five off, I had you beat." He then counted his stack while Jenny Israel walked over to ask what happened.

Nicula Loses a Flip; Bergmann Missing

Level 5 : 300/600, 75 ante

Fredrik Bergmann had started well but his tournament has since come to a crushing end. He lost a big pot with second nut flush versus full house and soon after busted when his opponent got there with a gutshot straight draw.

Also on the rail are Michael Magalashvili, Mihai Niste, Zvi Bresler and Florin Nicula. The latter four-bet for 12,000 with {A-}{K-} and three-bettor Robert Vukovic called with pocket eights to win the flip.

"I Should Have Called"

Level 5 : 300/600, 75 ante

Sandu Ganor limped in for 600 and short stack Robert Marin shoved for 7,700 on the button. Sorin Caraciobanu called in the big blind and Ganor folded.

Robert Marin: {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Sorin Caraciobanu: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

The board came {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Ganor banged his hand on the table when the king fell on the turn, then added "I should have called." The player from Israel certainly had the chips to do so with three times the starting stack.

More for White

Level 5 : 300/600, 75 ante

Sophia White has more than doubled since her last chip count update and she just raised to 1,200 from the hijack. Three opponents including Marius Gicovanu in the cutoff and both players in the blinds called. On the {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop, action checked to White and she bet 2,500. Gicovanu and the small blind both called and the {4-Spades} turn was checked through.

After the {7-Diamonds} river, the small blind checked and subsequently folded after a bet of 5,000 by White and a call by Gicovanu. White rolled over {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Gicovanu chopped it up with the {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
