Set for Kuznetsov

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Anton Kuznetsov raised with {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}, [Removed:158] called with {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Bhavin Khatri called with {J-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The flop was {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Kuznetsov elected to check with his set. Both other players checked as well.

On the {4-Spades} turn, Van Lancker led out 255,000. Khatri folded and Kuznetsov simply shoved. It was 1,940,000 more to call for Van Lancker, who spent two minutes in the tank before folding.

Bhavin Khatri Eliminated in 5th Place (£17,720)

Bhavin Khatri's second deep run in two years has come to an end in fifth place. Last year, Khatri almost went all the way and finished second to Dave Shallow, cashing £42,500.

The 32-year old, who runs his own tennis academy in Harrow, couldn't get much going at this year's final table. Khatri had to wait out the super short stacks and dwindled down himself in the process.

With a few big blinds remaining, Khatri picked up {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} and got it all in against [Removed:158], who held {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}. Khatri's dreams were smashed on a {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} board, as Van Lancker found the king he needed.

The academy owner added £17,720 and another Unibet Open final table to his poker resumé.

Van Lancker Makes a Monster Double

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

[Removed:158] raised with {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} on the button, Dejan Govedic folded {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Francis Foord-Brown defended with {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The flop came down {2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{A-Clubs}. Foord-Brown checked, Van Lancker bet 165,000 and Foord-Brown called.

The {6-Diamonds} on the turn gave both players a flush draw and Foord-Brown checked again. Van Lancker now bet 400,000 and Foord-Brown called with his pair and inferior draw.

The {8-Diamonds} on the river completed the backdoor flush for both players. Foord-Brown was done checking and fired out a hefty bet of 750,000. Van Lancker took his time before shoving the rest in, 1,500,000 in total.

Foord-Brown snap-called and got shown the bad news. The Brit was left with just 7 big blinds, but doubled the hand afterwards.
