It's time for the final day of the 2018 Unibet Open Bucharest €1,100 Main Event. The field of 592 players dwindled down to just 17 players in the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel. The planning was to play down to a final table, but they didn't manage to do that so they stopped play after 11 one-hour levels. They will be playing for the first place prize of €103,060

Chip leader at the start of Day 3 is Anton Vinokurov. Vinokurov has 2,930,000 in chips and is well ahead of Florin Elisei with 2,485,000 at the start of Day 3. Others that are still in the tournament include Daniel Chutrov (610,000). Chutrov won the Unibet Open Glasgow back in 2015 and is looking to add a second title. Unibet Poker Ambassador David Lappin (505,000) is also still in the tournament.

The tournament will start with 17 players and they have done a complete redraw at the end of Day 2. This will mean that they won't do another redraw as soon as a player busts out but they will just break a table. They will do a final table redraw when they reach that.

The stream of the tournament will be live right from the start at approximately 12:30 p.m. The live updates will all be posted on a 30-minute delay so it runs along with the stream. The stream can be found attwitch.tv/unibetpoker.

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Martin Wendt started the day with just four big blinds and found good enough cards in the first hand of the day that he went all in. Amir Shomron took him up on the challenge and they opened up their cards.

Martin Wendt: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Amir Shomron: {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Shomron eliminated Wendt from the tournament in the first hand of Day 3. They will break a table and the final 16 players will continue on two 8-handed tables.

Vinokurov Raises Three in a Row

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Anton Vinokurov has been quite the aggressive player yesterday and he's not slowing down today. He just raised three hands in a row.

In the first hand, Vinokurov raised to 90,000 from late position and he got called by Vitalijs Zavorotnijs. They both checked on all streets to have the {Q-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} board out there. Zavorotnijs tabled {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Vinokurov showed {A-Spades}{6-Spades} to take down the first hand.

In the second hand, Vinokurov raised from late position to 90,000 and his left-hand neighbor, Pawel Zoladkiewicz called. Florin Elisei three-bet from the button to 355,000 and both Vinokurov and Zoladkiewicz gave up.

In the third hand, the Russian player raised to 90,000 again, this time from middle position. Zoladkiewicz three-bet to 195,000 and it folded to small blind Lucian Bera. He went into the tank for a couple minutes before letting go of his hand. The rest of the players in the hand folded as well and Zoladkiewicz took down the pot.

Chutrov Doubles Off Shomron

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Daniel Chutrov
Daniel Chutrov

Daniel Chutrov opened to 80,000 from early position. The action folded to Amir Shomron in the big blind, who three-bet more than the 770,000 Chutrov had in his stack. Chutrov wasted no time and quickly made the call.

Amir Shomron: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Daniel Chutrov: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

Shomron held a minor advantage in the hand before the flop. However, the advantage went over to Chutrov after he paired the {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop. The {9-Hearts} on the turn and the {7-Diamonds} on the river were of no help to Shomron and Chutrov doubled up.

Bera Doubles Off Zavorotnijs

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Lucian Bera
Lucian Bera

Vitalijs Zavorotnijs opened for 85,000 from the hijack. About 30 seconds later, Lucian Bera three-bet jammed to 465,000 from the cutoff.

The action folded back around to Zavortnijs and he went into the tank for three minutes before he made the call.

Lucian Bera: {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Vitalijs Zavorotnijs: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Bera was behind before he flop but quickly caught up as the {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} paired up his hand. The {q-Clubs} came on the turn opened up a few more outs to a straight for Zavortnijs.

The {9-Diamonds} on the river was a safe card for Bera and he doubled up.

After the hand, he breathed a huge sigh of relief and tapped the table.
