Double Up for Menezes

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Nilius Menezes had only 4,100 and after he paid for his ante and big blind he had just 1,800 behind. Nicolae Sorin Son raised to 4,000 from middle position and after everyone folded Menezes called for his last 1,800.

Menezes was well ahead with {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} against {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Menezes scored a double up to stay alive with five big blinds in front of him.

Emelie Svenningsson In the Lead

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Emilie Svenningsson looks to be the chip leader in the tournament at the moment. She's playing a stack of over 200,000, but with the big blind being 2,000, there could be a switch at any time. Yaron Turgeman also plays a big stack and Stefan Razvan Dragomir has a big stack at well at this stage of the tournament.

Kooij Bluffs Everything Away

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Andrei Tudose
Andrei Tudose

Andrei Tudose raised to 3,600 from middle position and Teun Kooij three-bet to 10,500 from the cutoff. The player in the small blind tagged along and so did Tudose.

The flop was {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades} and it checked to Kooij. He fired another bet of 13,000 and after the player in the small blind folded it was Tudose with the call.

The turn came down and it was the {6-Diamonds} which paired the board. Tudose checked to Kooij who pushed all in for about 30,000. Within a second, Tudose threw in a single 100 chip to the middle to signal a call.

Kooij opened up {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} for queen high and Tudose showed {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a full house.

The river was the {4-Spades} and Kooij was eliminated from the tournament while Tudose started stacking.

Small Pot for Olsen

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Georg Olsen raised from middle position to 3,200 and Vitalijs Zavorotnijs called from the cutoff.

The flop came down {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and Olsen continued with a bet of 3,000. Zavorotnijs called again to see the {K-Hearts} turn. Both players checked this time and after the dealer had burned he opened the {2-Clubs} river card.

Olsen bet another time and he put 7,000 over the line this time. That sizing was enough to make his opponent fold and take down the pot.

Moolhuizen Stacking Up

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Mateusz Moolhuizen has been doing work over at his table. Moolhuizen has been building quite the stack and has now joined the top of the chip counts.

Moolhuizen's latest victory was achieved after raising from the cutoff to 3,400. Big blind Poul Andersen called and they saw the {2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop appear. Moolhuizen continued with a bet of 3,000 after Andersen had checked to him and that was enough to take down the pot.
