Unibet Open Malta

The starting flights have all wrapped up and it's time for all of the players to come together for Day 2 of the Unibet Open Malta €1,100 Main Event. There will be 137 players returning to the felt from the 327 total entries across three Day 1s. The prizepool and payout information will be available shortly after the cards go in the air today.

Leading the charge will be Christopher Heidelbacher who bagged the top stack of 243,000 chips in Day 1b. He will be closely followed by Angelo Tarallo (223,500), Przemyslaw Zielinski (216,500), and Alan Carr (201,500) as the only other players with over 200,000 chips.

There will be a few Unibet Ambassadors to keep an eye out for including Alexandre Reard (113,500), Ian Simpson (94,000), Monica Vaka (62,500), and David Lappin (46,000). There will also be a few of the Unibet Poker Twitch streamers still in action hoping to find some success at the live felt. You can catch some of them in action as the live stream will be taking place following the first break of the day by clicking on the 'Live Stream' tab.

The cards will go in the air at 12 pm local time with the blinds resuming on level 11 at 1,000/1,500 and a 1,500 big blind ante. The levels will still be 60 minutes in length with a 20-minute break after every two levels. There will be a 60-minute dinner break after the sixth level and the scheduled plan is to play down to the final table of nine players.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be here to bring you all of the live updates throughout the day to find out who will return for the final day.
