Ericson Wins a Flip vs Huxley

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Rickard Ericson
Rickard Ericson

The action folded around to Rickard Ericson on the button who shoved all in for his 20 big blinds of 12,200. Phillip Huxley made the call in the big blind and the two players were flipping.

Rickard Ericson: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Phillip Huxley: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The flop of {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} whiffed Huxley and Ericson was still out front. The {10-Diamonds} on the turn and the {7-Diamonds} on the river changed nothing and Ericson found a double up.

Rummukainen Holds Against Bablok's Flush Draw

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

With around 9,500 in the middle, Olli Rummukainen and Patryk Bablok were heads-up going to a flop of {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Rummukainen checked to Bablok who bet 6,000 and Rummukainen check-raised all in for 19,400. Bablok quickly called and the cards were face up.

Olli Rummukainen: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Patryk Bablok: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Bablok was looking for another diamond but neither the {9-Clubs} on the turn nor the {7-Hearts} on the river would provide any help.

Jantunen Triples Up

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Henri Jantunen was down to just 10 big blinds and he moved all in for 8,000 in middle position. Maxime Chilaud called on the button and Nicolas Storm also came along from the small blind.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Storm led out for 7,800. Chilaud called to create a side pot and the {4-Spades} landed on the turn. Storm shoved all in and Chilaud had a decision to make for the rest of his stack. He thought for a minute and then laid his hand down.

Storm turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} but Jantunen flopped a set with {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}. The river was the {3-Clubs} and Jantunen earned a triple up while Storm took the side pot.

Joelsson Getting Short

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Hugues Mazerolle opened to 1,700 from early position and Mathias 'casinodaddy' Joelsson defended from the big blind. The flop fell {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Joelsson started with a check. Mazerolle continued for 1,500 and Joelsson check-raised to 4,500. Mazerolle responded by shoving all in and Joelsson was forced to fold with just over 15,000 chips left.

Just a few moments earlier, Damian Potocki who built up a stack earlier in the day saw his chips diminish as he headed to the rail. Krisztina Polgar appeared to be the bearer of the chips as she has over 100,000 racked up for the first time today.
