Martin Olali raised to 55,000 from the middle, and Alex Hendriks was the only caller, from the big blind. The flop came and Hendriks check-called a bet of 40000. They both checked through the turn and river, and Hendriks reveled and took down the pot against the pocket nines of Olali.
Alex Hendriks opened from middle position with a raise to 55,000 and he was called by Wim Wesselink in the small blind, and WeiJie Zheng in the big. The flop came and Wesselink check called a bet from Hendriks, while Zheng got out of the way.
They both checked the turn, but when Wesselink checked the river, Hendriks tossed out a bet of 185,000. Wesselink check-raised to 400,000, sending Hendriks into the tank for a bit, but he finally found the fold.
The four-card Irish Poker variant ran last night and drew 25 total runners. With a buy in of €165 that put €3,750 into the prize pool to be divided up five ways. It took 15 levels to decide a winner, but in the end, Shane Hellyer took first place for €1,100 after a heads up deal.
