Kuhlman Turns a Value Shove

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Rene Kuhlman
Rene Kuhlman

Serdar Demircan opted to limp the button with {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Rene Kuhlman did so from the small blind with the {q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, Mats Karlsson joked "three way all-in" as he checked the {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

The {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} flop gave all players a pair but they checked to the {7-Hearts} turn. Kuhlman checked and Karlsson bet 250,000 for Demircan to call. The check-shove by Kuhlman for 1,260,000 and Karlsson almost immediately said "that's around one million?" without asking for an exact count.

Both Swedes folded and Kuhlman pulled even with Demircan.

Serdar Demircan Eliminated in 4th Place (€23,770)

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Serdar Demircan
Serdar Demircan

Serdar Demircan pushed all-in as the first player to act and Mats Karlsson with the {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} in the small blind eyeballed the rough amount before letting go.

"I need a count," Henrik Juncker instantly said when it was his turn to act. Once it was deemed to be for 2,285,000 total, Juncker went into the tank for the first time on the final table.

"You must have a pretty strong hand if you are even thinking about calling," Demircan chimed in. The jam was for most of Juncker's stack and he eventually made the call.

Serdar Demircan: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Hendrik Juncker: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop gave Juncker an open-ended straight draw on top of his pocket pair. With one ace gone, the {2-Clubs} turn left Demircan with five outs but the {6-Spades} river was no threat to eliminate Demircan in fourth place for €23,770.

Rene Kuhlman limped the button with the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Mats Karlsson did so from the small blind with the {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Henrik Juncker three-bet to 460,000 with the {10-Clubs}{8-Spades} in the big blind for Kuhlman to pull the trigger and force out his opponents via shove.

The next two-way limped pot saw Kuhlman with the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} in the big blind. He jammed once more and won the next chips uncontested.

Juncker's Turn to Jam

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Hendrik Juncker min-raised to 240,000 with the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} on the button, which was looked up by Mats Karlsson who came along with the suited undercards in {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop was checked and Karlsson bet the {j-Diamonds} turn for 300,000 to take it down with his six-high.

Rene Kuhlman opened the {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for 240,000 next and Juncker eyeballed his opponent's stack. "You are playing 2.6 behind?" he inquired, then moved all-in and got the snap fold.

Juncker Retains Lead For The Dinner Break

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Mats Karlsson limped the button with {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Henrik Juncker glanced at the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} in the small blind. The Dane opted for a raise to 380,000 and Rene Kuhlman had the {a-Spades} only showing while glancing at his stack and the middle of the table.

Kuhlman opted to fold and Karlsson stuck around to a {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop. With one million in the middle, Juncker bet 260,000 and that won the pot right there without any further resistance.

Karlsson received a walk in the last hand of the level and the final three players then headed into a 40-minute dinner break.

When they return, the tournament continues with a level duration of 30 minutes.

Mats Karlsson limped the small blind with the {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and then called a raise by Henrik Juncker, who held the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. On the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop, Karlsson got sticky and check-called a bet worth 250,000 to make a pair on the {5-Clubs} turn.

Another check by Karlsson led to Juncker's bet worth 475,000 and the Swede came along to the {7-Clubs} river. Both knuckled it down and Juncker extended his lead.

Kuhlman Gets Very Short

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Mats Karlsson min-raised to 300,000 on the button with the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Rene Kuhlman was in the big blind with the {k-Spades}{3-Spades}, coming along with just 1.1 million behind.

The {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop gave Karlsson the gutshot and flush draw while Kuhlman checked his king-high.

"How much do you have left?" Karlsson asked, glanced over and then pushed all-in to win the pot without any resistance whatsoever.

One orbit later he was in the big blind again with the {7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and he had to let go when Juncker pushed {10-Spades}{9-Spades}.
