Heikela Takes a Bite Out of Karlsson's Stack

turn, Mats Karlsson made it 6,000 to go out of the big blind. Jussi Heikela was his sole remaining opponent and raised it up to 13,000.
That sent Karlsson, a former runner-up of the EPT Malta Main Event at the Portomaso Casino around the corner from this very venue, into a brief tank. He then opted to fold and Heikela raked in the pot.
Karlsson opened to 1,000 shortly after and folded when a short stack pushed. Jenny Israel also got a three-bet shove through on the same table, which she concluded with a smile on the face and "thank you".
