Karlsson Leads the Way on Feature Table

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Mats Karlsson
Mats Karlsson

Domenico Gala limped the {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts} in the small blind and Mats Karlsson raised to 7,000 in the big blind with the {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}, which Gala called. On a {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop, Gala check-called for another 7,000 and the {9-Spades} turn followed.

Gala checked once more and Karlsson fired a bet worth 16,000 to win the pot, exposing his queen before raking in the pot.

De Laat Cannot Shake Off Valliaro

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Esa Valliaro
Esa Valliaro

Esa Valliaro raised from under the gun and was called by Bas de Laat in the big blind. The Dutchman checked the {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop and subsequently check-raised to 6,000 when Valliaro continued for 2,500.

Valliaro tossed in the additional chips and they headed to the {j-Spades} on the turn. De Laat checked again and Valliaro's bet worth 7,500 won the pot without any further resistance.

Urgently Needed Double for Sibold

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Ilona Sibold
Ilona Sibold

Ilona Sibold was among the shorter stacks in the field and that remains to be the case. However, she just doubled through Erik Lindqwist to reach half the average stack.

The cards of Lindqwist were in the muck already as he paid off the double. Sibold's {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} were the winning hand on a board of {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}.

Three-Bet Pot for Meutstege

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Following an open raise by Juho Santala, Koen Meutstege three-bet and earned a call as the duo headed to the {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop. There were 17,500 in the middle and Santala checked the option, which then triggered a bet worth 5,000 by Meutstege.

That was all it took for the Dutchman to win the pot, as Santala sent his cards into the muck.

David Lappin
David Lappin

In a duel big blind versus button, David Lappin got it in for the last 13,400 on the {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and Jon Per Persent looked him up.

David Lappin: {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Jon Per Persent: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The {3-Diamonds} turn and {a-Diamonds} river kept Lappin in contention while he put a small dent into the big stack of Persent.

Juutilainen No More

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The cards were already flipped over as Henri Juutilainen was in dire shape with his {a-Spades}{5-Spades}. Tony Westby not only had the superior stack but also the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. Things got a lot worse on the {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop and the {10-Diamonds} turn left the Finn drawing dead, making the {3-Hearts} river a formality.

Both stacks were counted and the 40,000 of Juutilainen were indeed covered.

Matyjaszczyk Felted by Sandoff

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Karl Erik Sandoff got a three-bet shove for 22,100 through when Juho Santala raised to 2,500 and Koen Meutstege called, as both the initial raiser and the flat-caller let go.

Sandoff's chips were in the middle again shortly after and he flipped against Radoslaw Matyjaszczyk in the following showdown.

Radoslaw Matyjaszczyk: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Karl Erik Sandoff: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} board improved Sandoff on the turn and Matyjaszczyk was sent to the rail.

Andersson Successfully Jams Into Vella

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a completed board of {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, Mark Vella had invested 22,000 on the button. He then faced a push for 63,200 by Morgan Andersson in the small blind and that sent the local resident into the tank.

Ultimately he folded and put his opponent on either pocket sixes or king-queen but Andersson didn't reveal the cards to solve this mystery. Before the shuffle for the next hand was completed, Vella inquired again but Andersson just grinned and replied "I don't remember".
