Daniel Pastor Eliminated in 21st Place (€3,370)

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Over on the outer tables, Daniel Pastor raised it up from under the gun. The action folded all the way to Henrik Juncker in the big blind, who three-bet to what appeared to be 85,000.

Pastor wasted little time before pushing all-in for around half a million in chips and was snap-called by Juncker.

Daniel Pastor: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Henrik Juncker: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop gave Pastor a gutshot straight draw but he found no miracle escape on the {j-Clubs} turn and {7-Clubs} river runout. Up to more than one million in chips not long ago, Pastor suddenly crashed out in 21st place for €3,370.

Updated Counts on Table 14

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Rene Kuhlman has recovered from the earlier setback and continued to chip up with aggression.

In the latest hand, he bet the {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Spades} river for 130,000 in a battle of the blinds with Oliver Said. The latter tanked for a short while and folded.

Karlsson Calls Correctly Against Demircan

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Mats Karlsson
Mats Karlsson

The hot rush of Serdar Demircan has been cooled down by Mats Karlsson, who nearly closed the gap at the top of the leaderboard on the feature table.

On a completed board of {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, Karlsson checked from under the gun with the {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. Demircan bet 100,000 with the {j-Spades}{10-Spades} on the button and Karlsson eventually called to catch the chip leader bluffing.

Slow Action on Outer Tables

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Table 16 has played various small pots without any major drama and the only severe short stack there is Italy's Domenico Gala. He let go of his small blind to give a walk to Raymond Wheatley and flashed the {4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

With a dry smile on the face, Wheatley revealed {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and then tossed them face up towards the dealer.

Karlsson Boosts Stack After Straightening Out Kettunen

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Mats Karlsson raised it up with the {k-Spades}{6-Spades} from an early position and Julius Kettunen flat-called with the {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} on the button. The {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop brought a bet worth 40,000 by Karlsson and Kettunen opted to only call with his set of fives.

After the {2-Spades} turn, Karlsson bet another 75,000 for Kettunen to call. The {a-Clubs} river brought a straight on the board and Karlsson bet 200,000 for two thirds of the pot.

Kettunen was sent into the tank and eventually called, then immediately asked "you got a six?" before he was shown the bad news.

Degennaro Goes Runner Runner for a Double

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Daniele Degennaro
Daniele Degennaro

Over on the live stream table, Daniele Degennaro was all-in for 248,000 following a under-the-gun raise by Tal Sardal.

Daniele Degennaro: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Tal Sardal: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The Italian knuckled the table in defeat on the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop but received the ultimate sweat card on the {7-Hearts} turn.

"One of the better cards in the deck?!" Mats Karlsson joked. Sure enough, the {q-Hearts} fell on the river and Degennaro pulled a rabbit out of the hat.

Another Nasty Beat for Sardal

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Daniel Illingworth pushed his shorter stack of just 80,000 from the button with the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} and was in bad shape against the {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} of Tal Sardal out of the big blind.

However, the {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs} runout was another sucker punch for Sardal.

Bos Pays Off Gala; Doubles Through Juncker

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Over on the outer table, Gerben Bos paid off a bet worth 60,000 by Domenico Gala on the {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} river. Gala tabled the {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for trips fives and increased his short stack.

Soon after that, Bos raised from under the gun and Henrik Juncker defended the big blind. The {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop brought a check-shove by Juncker and Bos called all-in for 167,000.

Gerben Bos: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Henrik Juncker: {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}

Juncker picked up more outs on the {8-Diamonds} turn but the {2-Clubs} river kept Bos in the mix.

Julius Kettunen Eliminated in 20th Place (€3,370)

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Julius Kettunen
Julius Kettunen

The live stream action caught up to a battle of the blinds between Julius Kettunen and Serdar Demircan. Down to around eleven big blinds, Kettunen shipped it in before the flop and was called by Demircan.

Julius Kettunen: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Serdar Demircan: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

"Oh shit ... wow, I only see one king, and go all in with one king" Demircan gasped when the cards had been flipped over. His superior pair remained ahead throughout the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs} board and that knocked out Kettunen in 20th place.
