A Double for Rast

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Brian Rast scored a big double up in a recent pot. Rast got it in holding the {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} against his opponent's {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. The money went in on the flop of a {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board and Rast's flopped straight held to rake in the pot.

Yu Takes Down Chidwick

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Ben Yu opened to 9,000 from middle position and called a three-bet jam from Stephen Chidwick in the cutoff for about 20,000.

Stephen Chidwick: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Ben Yu: {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Yu's two pair was best to send Chidwick back to the registration desk.

Shack-Harris Forced to Re-Enter

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Brandon Shack-Harris is the latest player to require another bullet and has a new seat with a fresh stack. It appears from the look of Sam Soverel's stack that he was the beneficiary of Shack-Harris' demise adding a pile to his already massive lead.

Negreanu Continues to Battle

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

With about 24,000 in the middle and a board reading {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}, Daniel Negreanu bet 17,000 out of the small blind and got called by Cary Katz in the big blind and Benjamin Pollak in the cutoff.

The {a-Spades} completed the board on the river and Negreanu fired another bullet, worth 42,000, and both of his opponents folded.
