Chidwick Goes from the Bottom to the Top

Stephen Chidwick was down to fewer than three big bets just a few moments ago but a streak of winning hands allowed him vault all the way to the top spot. He recently snatched the lead from Isaac Haxton after beating him in a hand of PLO.

Haxton hit top two and led out with a pot-sized bet, making it 245,000. Chidwick studied the situation for a moment and called.
The
river missed Haxton's flush draw, and, more importantly, gave Chidwick better two pair. Both players checked and Haxton announced his nine-seven. Chidwick showed him the tens and Haxton nodded, realizing he was defeated.
