Hands #14-17: Koon on Top

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Hand 14: Jason Koon made it 45,000 under the gun with the {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} and won the pot.

Hand 15: Koon was given a walk.

Hand 16: Stephen Chidwick opened to 40,000 with the {j-Clubs}{10-Spades} from late position and watched as Jason Koon called with the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} in the small blind and Benjamin Pollak defended his big blind with the {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

A juicy {10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop fanned out and Koon led with a bet of 35,000. Both Pollak and Chidwick called bringing a {6-Clubs} on the turn.

Koon continued, firing a bet of 80,000, and both of his opponents called once more.

The {8-Clubs} paired the board on the river and Koon tossed in a third barrel worth 155,000. Pollak folded and Chidwick called, mucking when Koon showed him the Johnnies.

Hand 17: Isaac Haxton opened from late position to 50,000 with the {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Pollak flatted with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} bringing a {4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. Pollak checked his small blind and called a bet of 85,000 from Haxton.

The {k-Diamonds} hit the turn and both players checked to see the {6-Clubs} complete the board. Both checked the river and Pollak took it down.
