Yoon Busts and Weinand Pulls Further Ahead

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

There was a raise to 4,500 before Brian Yoon moved all in for 26,000 total. Mark Dietz called as did Daniel Weinand and the player who opened as well giving Yoon a chance to quadruple up.

The flop was {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and action checked to the {9-Clubs} on the turn. There, action checked to Weinand who made it 65,000. The opening raiser folded as did Dietz so it was on to a showdown.

Daniel Weinand: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}
Brian Yoon: {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Weinand was far ahead with his two pair but Yoon picked up outs with an open-ended straight draw. The river was the {2-Spades} though and that would be the end of Yoon who hit the rail. Weinand meanwhile, cemented his lead chipping up to nearly 400,000 chips.
