Level 18 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Action folded around to the blinds where Joseph Cheong limped in. Jerry Robinson is in the big blind and he checked his option.

The flop was {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Cheong led out with a bet of 30,000. Robinson just called.

On the {5-Spades} turn both players checked. Cheong then put out a bet of 85,000 on the {2-Diamonds} river. Robinson thought for a few moments before calling. Cheong showed down his {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} but Robinson had him beat with {K-Spades}{8-Clubs} for top pair.

Level 17 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Daniel Weinand
Daniel Weinand

According to Daniel Weinand, a failed bluff cost him his tournament life. There was a raise from Jerry Robinson from under the gun and Joseph Cappello said he flatted on the button. Weinand called in the big blind.

The flop was {K-}{Q-}{8-} and action checked to Robinson who bet 60,000. Cappello called as did Weinand.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Weinand checked again. Robinson checked as well before Cappello bet 170,000. Weinand called leaving himself with just 75,000 behind. Robinson folded.

On the {K-} river, Weinand moved all in and Cappello quickly called with {K-}{Q-} for the best full house possible. Weinand later said he had {10-}{9-} for a double gutshot straight draw that he tried to use as a bluff.

Joseph Orsino opened to 55,000 from under the gun, Erik Seidel moved all in for around 200,000 from the button and Orsino called, the players turned over their hands with Seidel at risk.

Joseph Orsino: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Erik Seidel: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The flop came down in a devastating fashion for Seidel, when the dealer flipped over {3-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Spades}, giving Orsino the nut flush. A {j-Hearts} on the turn and {2-Clubs} on the river changed nothing and Orsino took down the pot, sending Seidel out in 13th.
