Peters Flips for Tournament Life

Level 20 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

David Peters limped the small blind and Keith Tilston raised the big to 175,000. Peters responded by jamming for 1.39 million and Tilston called.

Peters: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Tilston: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

It was a flip but not after the {5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop paired Peters. The {6-Spades} turn and {10-Spades} river were kind to Peters and he doubled into the chip lead.

Martin Zamani - 4th Place

Keith Tilston opened for 100K under the gun and called when Martin Zamani three-bet jammed for 835,000 from the small blind.

Tilston: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Zamani: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Zamani was in need of some help but didn't get any on the {4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop. The {k-Spades} turn gave Zamani a gutshot to go with his ace, but the {3-Hearts} river left him wanting.

Hunichen with the Check-Jam

Level 20 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Keith Tilston limped the button holding the {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Chris Hunichen did the same from the small blind with the {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Martin Zamani checked his option holding the {10-Hearts}{6-Spades} and it was three-way action to the {3-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop.

Hunichen checked, Zamani bet 75,000 with top pair, and Tilston called. Hunichen then check-raised all in and that did the trick as both his opponents folded.

Ryan Riess moved all in for 795,000 from the cutoff and Keith Tilston called from the big blind.

Tilston: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Riess: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop gave Tilston a set, but the {q-Diamonds} turn kept Riess drawing live to a ten for the gutshot. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {4-Spades}, the last card Riess would see in the 2019 USPO.
