Bonomo Starting to Climb

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Justin Bonomo opened to 4,500 from under the gun, Stephen Chidwick called, Keith Tilston, and Brandon Adams called. The flop came down {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, action checked to Bonomo who bet 7,000 and only Tilston stuck around to see the {j-Clubs} on the turn.

Both players checked and the dealer flipped over a {q-Spades} on the river. Tilston checked to Bonomo, he bet 17,000 and after a moment of thought, Tilston chucked his cards into the muck, sending another pot to Bonomo.

Haxton Survives With a "Weird" Chop

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Isaac Haxton

Ali Imsirovic opened on the button with a raise to 5,000. Chris Hunichen called in the small blind before Isaac Haxton moved all in from the big blind for right around 50,000. Imsirovic moved all in over the top for about 200,000 but Hunichen folded so Haxton was at risk to Imsirovic.

Ali Imsirovic: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Isaac Haxton: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop was {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} giving a few backdoor outs to Haxton and the {8-Hearts} on the turn gave him some chop outs as well. The river was the {k-Clubs} and that would earn each player half the pot with a chop pot, eights with ace-king-queen kickers.

"The weird way," Nick Schulman said about the way the pot got chopped.

Hunichen Sets a Trap, Zamani Resist the Temptation

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The turned board read {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, action was on Martin Zamani who bet 28,000 and was only called by Chris Hunichen. The river came down an {a-Diamonds} and Hunichen checked again.

Zamani took a moment but in the end he would hit the check button and Hunichen turned over {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Zamani laughed as he mucked his hand, sending the pot to Hunichen.

Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Brandon Adams opened to 4,000 on the button and Justin Bonomo three-bet in the small blind to 18,000. Adams called to see the flop.

The flop was {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Bonomo checked. Adams put out a bet of 18,000 which Bonomo called.

The turn was the {a-Clubs} and Bonomo checked again. Now, Adams moved all in for 186,000, or roughly the 145,000 that Bonomo had in his stack. Bonomo went into the tank, using a time bank. After just a bit, Bonomo called, putting himself at risk.

Brandon Adams: {10-Spades}{8-Spades}
Justin Bonomo: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Adams was caught semi-bluffing with middle pair and an open-ended straight draw, but Bonomo had the same open-ended draw. The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Bonomo would hold on with his pair of aces to take down the pot and double up.

The {a-Spades} landed on the turn and both players checked to the {2-Diamonds} river. Schulman reached for chips and threw in a bet of 22,000, Haxton called and Schulman tabled {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for aces over ducks, Haxton mucked and Schulman pulled in the pot.

Kempe Gets a Four-Bet Through

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Rainer Kempe opened on the cutoff to 3,500. Jake Schindler called on the button. Seth Davies was in the small blind and he three-bet to 21,000. Kempe then dropped into the tank, using a time extension. After his full minute and a half, he four-bet, making it 55,000. Schindler instantly folded and Davies folded as well after getting a count.

With that, Kempe scooped the pot and collected another pot, moving over 300,000.

Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

David Peters opened from the hijack with a raise to 3,500. On the button, Rainer Kempe three-bet to 12,000. Peters called and the two took a flop.

The flop was {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Peters checked to Kempe who bet 9,000. Peters called.

The turn was the {2-Spades} and Peters checked a second time to Kempe who bet 38,000. Peters called once more.

On the {q-Hearts} river, Peters checked a third time. Kempe put out a bet of 90,000, leaving himself with 1,000 behind. Peters jammed all in for the extra chip and Kempe snap-called.

Peters showed {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for two pair, but Kempe held {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a straight and he would take down the pot to double up.
