Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The turned board read {9-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and the pot had 6,000 in it. The action checked to Keith Tilston, he bet 4,000 and Dan Smith check-called. A {6-Diamonds} fell on the river and both players checked.

Smith said "Flush!," as he slammed down {k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Tilston turned over {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for a higher flush, taking down the pot from Smith.

Winter Jams on Foxen

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Sean Winter opened with a raise to 8,000 on the button and Alex Foxen called from the blinds.

The flop was {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{k-Spades} and Foxen checked, then raised to 20,000 when Winter bet. Winter called.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} and Foxen led out, betting 39,000. Winter called again.

On the {7-Clubs} river, Foxen slowed down and checked. Winter thought for a bit, then bet all of his chips, save for one 500 that he left behind. Foxen folded promptly.

"Fuck man," Winter said. "I needed you to fucking hit. What that a good turn for you?

"Yeah?" Foxen said. "You?"

"I flopped quads," Winter responded.

After raking in the pot, Winter chipped up to around 250,000.

Katz Takes One Off Foxen

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Cary Katz limped in on the button and Alex Foxen called in the small blind. David Peters checked his option in the big blind.

"Good check, David," Katz said. "No need to build the pot with that trash hand."

The flop was {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and action checked to Katz who put out a bet of 11,000. Foxen called while Peters folded.

"You folded the eight-deuce?" Katz asked Peters.

"You bet and you can't beat eight-deuce?" Foxen said.

The turn was the {a-Hearts}.

"I can now," Katz said.

Foxen checked and Katz continued betting, making it 15,000. Foxen called again.

The river was the {4-Spades} and this time both players checked.

"I've got the nuts," Katz said, showing {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}. It was good and he would rake in the pot.

Foxen Takes Back From Katz With Interest

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Catching action on a flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} Alex Foxen had a bet of 15,000 in front of him when Cary Katz raised, making it 49,500. Foxen thought for a bit, then called.

The turn was the {a-Hearts} and both players slowed down with a check.

On the {6-Diamonds} river, Foxen put out a monster-sized bet of 118,500. Katz dropped into the tank. He used a time extension to think through his decision.

"What a sick turn," Katz said. "Worst card in the deck."

Katz eventually called. Foxen showed his {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and it was good to best the {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} of Katz.

"You got lucky," Katz said. "Really lucky. What kind of turn is that?"
