The stack of Michael Tomeny was counted while his cards and the board were showing, and Adrian Di Girolamo on the other side of the table was shell-shock. Tomeny's Q♠Q♥ had hit a four card flush on the K♠7♣4♠6♠3♠ runout and that cracked the aces of Di Girolamo as confirmed by other players at the table.
"Sorry, that's twice in the tournament now," Tomeny said when his 682,000 was confirmed to have covered.
On his way out, Di Girolamo replied "you got my number".
