Big Slick for Richardson

Josh Noy
Josh Noy
Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Michael Tomeny opened to 125,000 in the cutoff, and Shijia Zhai called on the button. Ben Richardson then moved all in from the big blind for 1,030,000, and Tomeny made the call. Zhai took some time before letting his hand go, and the cards were turned up.

Ben Richardson: A♦K♥ All in
Michael Tomeny: A♠J♠

Richardson was well ahead, and Zhai indicated to the table that he folded ace-queen. The 6♥6♣9♥K♠J♥ runout saw Richardson improve to two pair, earning more than a double while taking a big portion of Tomeny's stack.
