Vakili Takes Out Two

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Reza Vakili
Reza Vakili

Peng Xie opened to 3,000 from under the gun, and Reza Vakili promptly three-bet to 13,000 in the hijack. Idris Hassan then moved all in on the button, and Steven Vucsic shoved in the big blind.

Xie let his hand go, while Vakili called covering both opponents.

Idris Hassan: A♥K♣ All in
Steven Vucsic: 3♦3♥ All in
Reza Vakili: A♦9♦

The dealer fanned out the 6♣5♥7♥ flop, leaving Vucsic in front. Vakili then hit the 9♥ turn, while Hassan picked up a flush draw. The 10♠ river was a blank, leaving Vakili with the best hand to send Hassan and Vucsic to the rail.
