Fang Sends Hassan Out

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action folded to Idris Hassan in the small blind, who committed his last 8,000 chips. Qibo Fang made the call in the big blind, and the cards were turned up.

Idris Hassan: J♦9♠ All in
Qibo Fang: Q♣J♠

Hassan was dominated from the start, and could not find any help on the 6♥10♦8♥3♠J♣ board. Hassan quickly exited the tournament area, as Fang raked in the pot.

Vanderveen Eliminated in Gross Fashion

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The K♠Q♥4♥ flop was checked to Benjamin Vanderveen and he made it 2,000 to go. Sean Ragozzini flat-called before Hongbo Ju then check-raised to 7,500. Vanderveen clicked it up to 25,800 and Ragozzini folded, while Ju called after brief consideration.

That led a duo to the 4♠ turn on which Ju checked, Vanderveen pushed all-in and was snap-called.

Benjamin Vanderveen: K♦Q♦ All in
Hongbo Ju: K♥4♦

The river was the 5♠ to knock out in unfortunate fashion.

Queens Hold for Xu

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Morgan Ma opened to 1,500 before Jim Andreadis slid out a three-bet to 4,000. Ke Xu then moved all in, and Ma called off for less. Andreadis got out of the way, and the hands were turned up.

Morgan Ma: 6♦4♦ All in
Ke Xu: Q♦Q♣

Ma picked up some additional outs but could not improve enough on the 8♠9♥5♦6♥9♠ board, as Xu scored the elimination.

May Runs Kings Into Aces

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Heidi May
Heidi May

Heidi May was cruising earlier on after she had run up her stack to around 80,000 which the table also pointed out in the chat as well, though, May was not there anymore when she clashed with Bob Sova in the most classic of preflop coolers.

Heidi May: K♦K♥ All in
Bob Sova: A♣A♥

There was no escape on the J♦9♠2♦J♠3♦ to send May to the rail.

Lawless Bows Out

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Cameron Lawless
Cameron Lawless

Maduka Perera opened to 1,200 from under the gun, and Dale Code promptly three-bet to 2,600 as next to act. Cameron Lawless then moved all in from middle position, and Perera let his hand go. Code made the call, leaving Lawless at risk.

Cameron Lawless: 5♥5♦ All in
Dale Code: 10♠10♥

Code revealed the better pocket pair, and Lawless came up empty on the K♥3♠7♦3♦9♣ board to hit the rail.

Mohajerani Eliminated by May

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

The cards were already on their backs with the turn showing 10♠9♠6♥7♣ and Farhad Mohajerani was the at-risk player with K♥Q♣ for a gutshot straight draw. Heidi May already had the made straight with the 10♦8♦ and the 10♣ river changed nothing.

Goltz Sends Tapley to the Rail

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Shem Goltz opened to 1,500 and was called once before Kieran Tapley three-bet to 3,700. Goltz four-bet to 9,500 and Tapley was the only caller.

On a flop of 9♣6♥2♠, Tapley bet 7,000 to get called and the same amount was wagered on the 6♦ turn for Golz to call. Tapley then bet the J♣ river for 17,000 and Goltz moved all-in. One of his three time banks disappeared before Tapley called with the 7♥7♣ and was shown the A♦A♣ by Goltz.

Early chip leader at the table is Mario Doria.

Jimmy Tran was all in on the 2♦4♦6♣ flop, and Mario Doria made the call on his left.

Jimmy Tran: Q♠Q♦ All in
Mario Doria: A♦10♦

Tran displayed his overpair, while Doria turned over his flush draw which was quickly completed on the 8♦ turn. The K♠ river changed nothing, as Tran made his exit while Doria collected the pot.

Harlie Jensz was all in, at risk against Peng Xie on his immediate left.

Harlie Jensz: J♣J♥ All in

Cole Bets Out Ting

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Leung Ting defended out of the blinds to check-call a first bet by Stephen Cole on the K♥9♣3♥ flop and then did so again for 2,500 on the 6♦ turn. The 10♣ followed on the river and Ting checked once more. Cole fired a third barrel for 10,000 and that won the pot uncontested.

The same table also features Heidi May whereas Marc Cuiuli was knocked out one table over.
