On a completed board of K♣J♦4♠6♥8♠, Samuel Cheng checked and Celina Lin bet 30,000. Cheng then pushed forward a stack of green T-25,000 chips and Lin leaned back into the seat before studying the board. She spread forward her four time bank cards and used two of them before calling.
Cheng tabled the 6♠6♦ for a set of sixes and Lin mucked. Another player pointed out she should have shown and the player instantly added "I don't want to know" before putting her on pocket fours.
"I would have called much faster," Lin replied before she headed out.
On a flop of 8♠7♣4♣, Phat Nguyen check-raised from 5,000 to 17,000 and then called all-in when Qibo Fang pushed with the covering stack.
Phat Nguyen: 10♥9♥
Qibo Fang: 8♣8♦
The A♦ turn was a blank and so was the 2♥ river to knock out Nguyen.
Michael Pinzone moved all in from the cutoff for his last 17,000, and Michael Guttmann stuck in a call on the button. Both blinds folded, leaving Pinzone at risk heads-up.
Michael Pinzone: A♦5♦
Michael Guttmann: A♣J♥
Guttmann was well in front as the cards were revealed, and increased his advantage on the 8♣3♦8♥ flop. Pinzone picked up a diamond draw on the 10♦ turn, which was completed on the 7♦ river. Pinzone's flush earned the double-up, leaving Guttman with a short stack.
Ross Mullen checked from the big blind after the 6♠K♠6♣ flop, and Chris Schumann slid out a bet of 6,500 from early position. Mullen answered by check-raising all in for 32,000.
That left Schumann taking some time with his decision, opting to slide his cards into the muck as Mullen picked up the pot.
The cards were all but rushed away when Li Tam paid off a double to Ke Xu on the other side of the table. Her A♠J♦ had flopped well with top pair and top kicker on the J♠8♣5♥9♣2♣ runout but Xu's K♦K♣ for the overpair secured the double.
Tambet Nugin was all in from the cutoff, at risk against Andrew Hawes on the button.
Tambet Nugin: 10♠10♥
Andrew Hawes: K♠K♦
Nugin found a set of tens on the 10♦8♣4♦ flop, and the A♠ turn left him on the verge of an unlikely double. Hawes then hit the K♣ river, making a better set to score the knockout.
Samuel Cheng opened to 4,500 in the cutoff and then called a three-bet to 10,500 by Celina Lin on the button. Cheng check-called a bet of 6,000 on the 8♦3♠2♠ flop and checked the J♣ turn. Lin now made it 14,000 to go with some 21,000 behind and it was enough to win the pot.
