Padilla Cracks Aces With Quads to Bust Kyriakou

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Andrew Kyriakou
Andrew Kyriakou

There were fireworks in the last hand before the break and they would end up with the elimination of Andrew Kyriakou in 32nd place, further cementing the status of Ruben Padilla among the big stacks in the field.

Kyriakou raised to 60,000 preflop and was called by Ruben Padilla on the button and two other players. Kyriakou's bet on the 4♣2♣2♠ flop was just called by Padilla and that led them to the A♣ turn. Kyriakou bet once more to get called and the 7♥ river completed the board.

Kyriakou's third barrel prompted the shove by Padilla, who was snapped off to reveal a staggering setup. Kyriakou had turned aces full with the A♥A♦ but Padilla's 2♥2♦ had flopped quad deuces for a brutal knockout.

Stojokovic Eliminated by Sibaei

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Once the action had folded to Milan Stojkovic on the button, he pushed all-in for the last 350,000. Table chip leader Naz Sibaei called from the big blind and the cards were flipped over.

Milan Stojkovic: Q♦J♣ All in
Naz Sibaei: K♥10♣

Sibaei retained his lead on the 10♠5♦3♥ flop and the 8♦ turn gave Stojkovic a few additional outs with his gutshot straight draw. However, the 6♦ on the river was a blank and that sent Stojkovic out in 33rd place near the end of the second level of play.

Level 21 : Blinds 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Ruben Padilla raised to 50,000 and Zanxin Li then jammed one seat over for 315,000 in the cutoff. Joe Hachem on the button asked for a count and flat-called, both blinds folded. Padilla then pushed all-in for more than 1.6 million total and Hachem opted to fold.

Zanxin Li: A♠J♠ All in
Ruben Padilla: Q♠Q♣

"Ace king?" another player asked Hachem who nodded.

No ace came on the 8♣7♣3♦2♣10♦ board and that spelled the end for Li in 34th place.

Two Knockouts for Foster

Level 21 : Blinds 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

In a four-way limped pot that was checked all the way to the 9♠4♠3♥K♥2♣ river, Dylan Foster bet 180,000. Huy Lam then pushed all-in for little more and Foster called to show his 9♦2♦ for rivered two pair out of the blinds. The entire table was somewhat perplexed to see Lam table the A♦K♦ for a slow-played top pair on the turn and he became the next casualty.

Wan Gan then jammed for 194,000 on the same table and Foster called.

Wan Gan: J♦J♠ All in
Dylan Foster: A♦Q♦

No ace or queen came but three diamonds on the 10♣8♦2♠10♦7♦ runout.
