The 2026 Victorian Poker Championship continues at Crown Melbourne on a beautiful sunny spring Thursday, with three events on the schedule, including another flight of the $2,500 Victorian Champs Main Event and the start of the $10,600 Super High Roller.

After 91 entries in Flight 1, the Main Event is back at 12:10 p.m. local time for Day 1b, giving players another shot at building a stack and making it through to Day 2. Just 32 players made it through the opening flight, with Tom McMahon leading the way after bagging 392,000 chips.

Jeapeng Kang (342,500) and Shouzheng Hu as the trio will all have a keen eye on today to see how their numbers shape up once the second flight gets underway.

Aside from the Main, there's plenty more happening around the festival, too. Event #14: $500 VPC Hyper is also on today's schedule, while the $10,600 Super High Roller gets underway with Day 1. That will no doubt make for a busy day around the Crown Melbourne tables.

However, for those jumping into the Main Event, the setup remains the same as Flight A. Everyone starts with 60,000 chips, blinds begin at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante, and levels last 40 minutes throughout the 12-level opening day. Players can reenter once per flight, with an additional entry available before late registration closes one level into Day 2.

Players also receive four time bank cards when they first sit down, with more handed out at the start of Day 2 on Sunday, October 25, and again when the tournament reaches the final table.
