A general update from a very busy cardroom here at the beautiful Crown Melbourne. As we enter the early Friday evening there's a whole bunch of tournaments, satellites and cash games running including the following highlights.

• VPC Main Event - Just short of 150 entries on a busy Day 1c. Play continues into Level 8, with late registration open for just over another 4 hours.
• VPC Super High Roller - The High Roller continues on the feature table, with 7 players remaining there's a load of familiar faces who will play for an $85,000 first-place prize.
• VPC 2-7 Triple Draw - Among others, the former world champ Joe Hachem is firing at this one, with a field of 26 players at the moment, there's still plenty of time to get involved if you fancy some mixed-games in Melbourne this Friday night.
• Main Event Milestone Satellites - Plenty of chances to satty into the VPC Main Event at a cutprice of $300. Should you win you can join what is shaping up to be a big field on Saturday here at the VPC.
